Opportunity Details

St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center, situated in Enid, OK, is actively seeking a Neurosurgeon to join our esteemed team. This rare opportunity arises from the retirement of our current Neurosurgeon, leaving a critical gap in specialized care in our community.

As the sole Neurosurgeon serving our area, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering essential surgical services to Northwest Oklahoma. St. Mary’s Physicians is the primary provider of surgical care for a vast region encompassing nine counties, with nearly all hospitals in the vicinity classified as Critical Access Hospitals. Without access to Neurosurgery services locally, patients face a daunting additional journey of 1.5 hours to Oklahoma City for treatment. At St. Mary’s, we receive the majority of trauma cases, underlining the crucial need for a dedicated Neurosurgical practice to serve our patients effectively.

Enid stands as the bustling epicenter for business, healthcare, and retail in Northwest Oklahoma, brimming with opportunities for growth and innovation. Despite its burgeoning status, Enid retains its small-town charm, abundant sunshine, and notably, minimal traffic congestion. Just a short 90-mile drive from Oklahoma City, Enid offers the amenities of larger urban centers without the exorbitant cost of living. It's no wonder Enid earned recognition as one of the "Top 5 Up and Coming Cities" by Good Morning America.
