Laredo Physician Group is recruiting a Neurosurgeon to Laredo, TX. This position will include all standard neurosurgical procedures (aneurysm clipping, craniectomy, tumor/AVM resection, EVD placement) and will benefit from a strong referral base.    We offer competitive compensation (Base + Wrvu Bonus), comprehensive benefits, PTO, 401K, relocation assistance, stipend allowance and immigration assistance for eligible candidates. Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible and hold a Texas Medical License or be eligible to obtain one. This is an employed opportunity to offer a competitive compensation and benefits package. You will have the opportunity to start busy practice from day 1. Spanish skills are a plus, but not required. Doctor's Hospital of Laredo is a 180-bed facility, one of five hospitals in Laredo. With over 160 medical staff members, the hospital is a Level III Trauma Center, and averages over 18,000 emergency department visits each year. Hospital services include Emergency Medicine, Surgery, Women’s Health and Cardiology (designated Chest Pain Center). Laredo is a city of over 230,000 people located on the south Texas border, about 150 miles southwest of San Antonio. The 10th most populous city in Texas as well as the largest inland port in the country, Laredo boasts a vibrant local economy.
